Overview
Charlotte Oktoberfest is a public event organized by a local home brew club, the Carolina BrewMasters which is a 501c(4) non-profit group. It is the largest single day craft beer festival in North Carolina and one of the largest in the southeast with over 6,000 people in attendance. The festival is run by an all volunteer staff and the proceeds go to worthy selected charities. Since its inception, the festival has raised well over $500,000 for charity. Last year's festival alone raised over $80,000! Charlotte Oktoberfest will have live bands, food, games and other entertainment. The festival has sold out in advance every year since 2006 and is now a Charlotte tradition! The event will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at the North Carolina Music Factory.
