This event will honor the Grand Re-Opening of the Chelsea Limelight Shops location and will feature a line showcase of Limelight’s hand selected fashions. Limelight Chelsea was the first location to open, but renovated this past summer into a more chic and modern atmosphere.

Circa 1983, Peter Gatien opened what would become the infamous premiere nightclub on the Avenue of the Americas during the 80s and 90s. The Limelight nightclub was a hub for an array of music, especially industrial sounds accompanied by regular visits by the ultimate A-Listers of the time who included Madonna, Grace Jones, David Bowie, and other notable patrons. Today, the Limelight has now transformed into the ultimate shopping destination, one that we are sure our ‘It’ crowd predecessors would approve of.

For this unveiling, and as the kickoff for this year’s fall fashion season, we plan on capturing the same electric energy as The Limelight once had over two decades ago with this re-opening and celebration.
