MATTE is a creative production company that focuses on creating one of a kind musical experiences. We believe in the power of brand and each of our events tells a cohesive narrative through its design, talent, content and execution. We believe we sit in the unique space of creating ticketed events that maintain the production value and caliber of audience of private events.
BLACK was started last year, and was one of the more anticipated NYC music events event of the year.Set at the historic Capitale space on Bowery, BLACK saw incredible performances by Matthew Dear, Chairlift, and The Rapture, while attendees enjoyed interactive art installations by LA collective Black Bandtiz, Young & Sick, and Charlie Nesi. As we turn BLACK into a series of Four Events through February and March, we see great potential in a unique content platform for a brand, as well owning the downtown New York streets for the transition of winter to spring.
